Extruder Nozzle Temperature Switch for Afinia and UP! 3D Printers description
Afinia and UP! 3D printers have a high filament melt point temperature on the extruder nozzle. This is approximately 260 degrees C. Third party filament generally has a lower melt point. This enhancement to the Afinia and UP! 3D Printers reduces the nozzle temperature approximately 30 degrees C.

This modification is neither approved nor disapproved by the Afinia and UP! manufacturers. However the temperature switch can be removed in less than a minute.
